Hannah Nance Partlow of Adventure Time: Candy Capers had her head down doing special sketches for fans for most of WonderCon at her time at the Boom Studios booth. Boom, that recently made waves with its announcement of film and other media development with Fox. TTDILA asked her how did she get the job working on Candy Capers. "I was a fan, watched the show, read the comics, I sent in my folder to Boom and got the job." Hannah said, " I like the energy of the show, " when telling me what her favorite parts of Adventure Time were.
TTDILA overheard Kassandra Heller say she has to look on the Adventure Time Wiki to get all the character colors write before chatting with her. She colors the covers for Adventure Time comics. When asked about WonderCon, "It's bigger than last year, " Kassandra said as a young girl was afraid to say anything to her, but meandered near her.
As fans asked her requests and she doodled Adventure Time characters TTDILA talked to a Boom booth rep. Lumberjanes was the best selling comic so far. A story of young girls living together at camp and finding out mysteries.
Noelle Stevenson, creator of Lumberjanes was there and just about to go for a hearty lunch, when we asked about how here premiere party in Pasadena went for the book. "Everybody stood up in flannel shirts, " she said with a grin, happy so many of her comics sold there and that certain issue covers sold out at WonderCon.

WeLoveFine, known for the big bags they make for the cons, was selling T-shirts and other fine goods with a not to distant feel from Adventure Time, many of their products are from Pen Ward's other creations like Bravest Warriors or Natasha Allegri's Bee and PuppyCat. I talked to Nicole Campos of We Love Fine, "PuppyCat Plush has been our bestseller, " she told us when TTDILA asked what was selling best at WonderCon. The PuppyCat plush doll going for $25 was a well made facsimile that sounded like the same cartoon PuppyCat when you pressed on its ear. Then she showed the Bee sweater with a bee on it that was also selling in good numbers.
We discussed how the show, though only consisting of two short cartoons online so far, generated so much fan love. It could be the untapped potential of a girls cartoon not trying to sell dolls and that it's colorful, funny and adventurous.
TTDILA was told Catbug was usually the bestseller, but not this con. Catbug is a half-cat, half-ladybug that appears on Bravest Warriors and talks like a little kid.As TTDILA chatted, John Omohundro, who plays Danny of Bravest Warriors, was signing whatever fans were bringing up to him in the WeLoveFine booth.
Catbug, PuppyCat and other internet titles get their fare share and love from WeLoveFine who seems to have a knack for making qaulity goods and shirts for fan devoted subjects. Check out their fine goods here.
Here's just some more Catbug found around WonderCon.
