A man allegedly broke into four LAPD police cars today, under the command of Darth Vader, luckily Superman showed up to save the day.
What really happened? KTLA was covering the loss of Shirley Temple at her Hollywood star. On the fourth break-in, a yet unidentified man broke into another LAPD car and stole its laptop. KTLA let the camera's role and as Hollywood and Highland is known for it costume wearing weirdos some got into the shot. The unidentified man broke into the cars using metal rods found at a nearby construction site. The suspect was captured and Superman ended up in frame.
Hopefully, this takes off some heat from KTLA's Sam Rubin confusing Nicky Fury for Morpheus. I mean Samuel L Jackson for Laurence Fishbourne.
