Materials & Applications: Building Something (Beyond) Beautiful: projects, 2002-2013

I honestly don'y know why I'm so taken in by Material & Applications. It could be the meta art name, the constant projects that are interactive in the community or just because a recent project was on marshmallows. Now all that has been of Materials & Applications will be showcased in a survey at the University Art Museum at CalState Long Beach.

A far drive from it's common used space on Silverlake and still far from its episodic adventures with community events with LACMA. The distance might be worth the trip with a huge collection spanning 11 years of work with different materials and young designers.
