When I saw Micheal Bay as producer I should have just turned it off. Black Sails follows someone like Jack Sparrow meeting women you didn't expect to be in charge or hold positions on an pirate island. Except, you totally saw that coming. Then a lot of sex happens, softcore sex that is with musical cues that end when it's over. The last battle, well it's freaken obvious whose going to win so the story can go.
Oh look, lesbians. Oh look, a female pirate with attitude. Why not just do a show about them?
It all happened in the Johnny Depp movies and the fourth one came out when the series was already stale.
