"This interdisciplinary exhibition will bring together work by a group of [mostly] of over 100 local artists and followers to celebrate the Golden Anniversary of the sci-fi cult classic. From angels who weep to Dalek plungers and whisks, the art about our favorite madman with a box police box will be nothing to shake a sonic screwdriver at.
Curator FD has assembled artists whose work for the shows includes animation, graphic design, illustration, graffiti, comics, painting, installation and performance. Each artwork presented was chosen based on the artist’s vision and how their work portrays a distinct Los Angeles interpretation of the monolithic British franchise."
