Just Add Water opens in Rotunda Gallery

NHM presents large-scale watercolor works by Los Angeles artist Rob Reynolds, inspired by the L.A. Aqueduct that brought water to a thirsty region. Support provided by the James Irvine Foundation

Steps of the NHM 1913 Building. Celebrate the 100th anniversary of the L.A. Aqueduct and NHM, with remarks by civic leaders, a ceremonial lighting of the Expositon Park Fountain, and a display of materials that will be placed in a time capsule that will be opened in 2113.

Taste of History: A Watershed Moment is a reception and unforgettable culinary experience celebrating 100 years of water in L.A. and a curatorial presentation on the city’s transformation from a desert into an oasis.
