Skateboards and skateboarders of note will be in LA skateboarding the hell out of the Valley, this event really takes place in the valley, something I thought I would never write about.
"The 2013 Southern California Skate Expo will consist of three sunny action-packed days turning to moonlit nights. Enjoy dancing under the stars to the hottest bands while mixing and mingling with who’s who of the action sports world. Included in the schedule of events are meet and greets, autograph sessions, book signings, silent auctions, raffles, games for the kids, lessons from the legends, demos from the pros, photo opportunities with your favorite skaters and more food than you can imagine.
Skaters of every age and skill level will compete in all categories including Bowl, Mini Ramp and Street while Dave Duncan calls the live action.
Syck Productions has assembled an all-star line-up of the greatest skaters in the world. Combine that with the concept of bringing a three-day skateboarding Expo to the San Fernando Valley, a region that hasn't even a single indoor skate park."
