This June it's time for Noir. Sure, last month had some film festival about Noir, but June is going to fill you up some more Noir. Captured Aural Phantasy Theater has it's Night of Noir Show happening June 2 at the El Cid. This time their work will be inspired by pulp fiction, LA noir movies and those crime comics that Comic Book Authority didn't like so much.

The Week of Noir is leading up to the event and it's a scavenger hunt. You'll be able to figure out clues like a hard-boiled detective from the Captured Aural Phantasy Theater Facebook page the week leading to the show. This means heading around LA and maybe conversing with some people up to no good (they're actors don't worry). They might give you LA-themed prizes. Who doesn't love a scavenger hunt you can imagine yourself being in black and white in. You can talk yourself in your head too, but see a psychiatrist if other voices get in there.

Aural Phantasy Theater blows a kiss to our adopted hometown, Los Angeles, by blending hard-boiled culture and
the absurd to present
an evening of performances inspired by LA-centered noir movies, pulp fiction
and and the brutal crime comic books of the 40’s. Through unique performances
of vintage noir comic stories, projected art, live music, and other thrilling
acts, Captured Aural Phantasy Theater’s Night
of Noir Show creates an atmosphere of thrills!
The Night of Noir Show also
is the culminating event of a Los Angeles noir-themed scavanger hunt, the Week of Noir, that Captured Aural Phantasy Theater is
presenting the week before the show. Check our Facebook page leading up to June
2 for fun facts from noir film, books and more and unravel daily clues
that will take you on a noir- themed scavenger hunt of Los Angeles! Live
actors may be at certain sites. LA-themed prizes will be awarded. We love this
city and we wanted to get our audiences out in it.

The Night of Noir Show is the next installment
in Captured Aural Phantasy Theater’s
monthly residency at El Cid. We always start the
show at 8:30pm, but doors open at 7:30 so audiences can revel in El Cid’s 100 year-plus history while
enjoying a brand new tapas menu and superb cocktails. Get there early to grab a
good seat and excellent food, or get there near curtain and just start
drinking! Enjoy a variety show, music and booze!
