Ghastly Horror Variety Show This Week One Nite Only

This week it's time to get scared. Scared and entertained that is by the Captured Aural Phantasy Theater group at their Ghastly Horror Variety Show. They go to the stage of El Cid and bring to life the comic book horrors of the past by reliving the years when comic had to be outlawed, well really the Comic Book Authority, well it was just a bad time for comics and gross out murder and horror sold. Either way it'll be a fun frightful night to both enjoy drinks and horror.

Anchoring the Ghastly Horror Variety Show are live performances of stories and art pulled straight from the pages of vintage horror comic books, the genre that outsold all others in the early 50’s. These comics, containing some of the medium’s best writing and art, were the subject of Senate hearings in 1954, the outcome of which eventually brought down the entire comics industry. Captured Aural Phantasy Theater presents these tales in all of their subversive, terrifying fun!
