Music videos, we wish we still saw them on MTV, but that doesn't happen. Now you have the internet, but for a few days you have a theater. The stepping stone for so many directors is the music video and for four days at the Downtown Independent you can see crazy, sardonic, introverted and tasty vids up on screen right near a gay bar and odd car park. Those two last things don't have anything to do with the fest, but are very close by.
