    A fusion R&B Gospel groupHEAVENESE” from Tokyo will perform on stage. Actor/comedian Rome Kanda, known for his 2008 comedy reality show, “MAJIDE!? I Survived a Japanese Game Show” will be the MC.
    Next to the stage at the Market Place, Japanese-fusion style food trucks will be offering sushi –

    The Game Central Station Arcade will be filled with classic 80's arcade games along with the limited release of Disney's WRECK-IT RALPH'S Fix It Felix, Jr. All arcade games are free!

    Who is the best gamer out there? Put it to the test by participating in ArcLight Cinema’s Game Central Station High Score contest! Each guest will get one turn on each game to get the highest score. If they hold that high score all weekend long, they are the location winner. If their score withstands both weekends, they are ArcLight's Grand Central Station Champion and walk away with Wreck-It Ralph promotional items, ArcLight Signature treats, and a $50 gift card.

    The Good Food Festival and Conference LA


    "The Good Food Festival & Conference returns to Los Angeles for the second year Nov. 2-4, 2012. Produced by FamilyFarmed.org in cooperation with the Santa Monica Farmers Markets, the conference focuses on regional and national issues that are integral to building local and sustainable food systems and educating people about the Good Food Movement.
    The Good Food Festival & Conference begins with an Urban "Barn Raising” with pioneering urban farmer Will Allen on Friday, November 2 at John Muir High School, continues with the Good Food Conference, a day of informative panel discussions at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) featuring speakers such as Will Allen (The Good Food Revolution), Laura Avery (Santa Monica Farmers Markets), Andrew Kimbrell (Center for Food Safety), and Evan Kleiman (Good Food/KCRW) on Saturday, November 3 and culminates on Sunday, November 4 with Localicious, an evening of food and wine tasting on the beach with 30 chefs and 30 farmers at the Annenberg Community Beach House."

     Conservation of América Tropical

    A free, family-friendly festival celebrating Siqueiros’ masterpiece, América Tropical, including art exhibitions, folkloric dances, street theater, mariachi music, and fun workshops on how to paint a mural, printmaking and more. 

    Plus a special performance of América Tropical the Opera by David Conte with libretto by Oliver Mayer, followed by the UCLA Philharmonia presentation of América Tropical by Steven Loza.

    América Tropical also is open for viewing, accessible through the América Tropical Interpretive Center.

    All day event Saturday, November 3, beginning at 10:30 a.m., until the music stops. 

    The América Tropical Opera debuts at 4:30pm in the LA Plaza de Cultura y Artes courtyard and runs for 50 minutes.
