Halloween 2012 LA Update: Haunted Hayride and Shriekfest Schedule

The 4th Annual Haunted Hay Ride will soon be upon us and the theme of "The Congregation" will be filling us with fear this year. I'm in fear of my own "congregation" with Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur happening soon, they're Jewish holidays, if you're not Jewish then there just some silly words you'll be hearing Jews complaining about shortly. Hot LA weather + suits +old people = me not having a good time.

You won't be dealing with old Jewish people at the Haunted Hay Ride or possibly you will,  I saw some old Jewish people having fun at Knott's Scary Farm last year. Old people usally go to be d early. You will be having a good time anyway with "The Congregation" theme that deals with cult occults and a fire that claimed a church group. The Hay ride itself is now longer and will be a 360 experience, so I guess you'll go in a full circle of the event.

What's also is updated is the "In-Between Dark Maze" with more maze and apparently you get a lantern to see what's in front of you. That sounds cool, it's so dark you're given a low-lit lantern!

Purgatory awaits you is you wait for your Hay ride with plenty activities to have a good scare, plus munchies and photo-ops,games and more.

  There will be a special evening hosted by “Elvira” Mistress of The Dark on Saturday, October 6^th 2012, with special Elvira VIP Packages available online that will allow guests to ride with Elvira.  Sunday, October 7^th 2012 is the Annual Premiere Night with a black carpet full of celebrities and sponsors who will get to experience this year’s all new festivities.
