For a second I thought Anime Expo didn't leave LA as I entered a unknown shop. The walls had wall scrolls, the shelves had old video games, manga and music and then I was surrounded by a mountain of VHS tapes. Tokyo Music is a paradise of indie goods and hard to find collectibles. Going through you'll get lost in the all the different goods.
I went through the collection of old VHS to find some classic B-Horror, but there's more. There's indie music, anime, manga, shirts, posters and some video game promo goodies to snag. It's somewhat of a grunge fest in there, everything's everywhere. I guess you could think of it as a small Wacko outside of Hollywood.
You'll find parking to be quite good, plus your near plenty of places to eat. Your right near Rocket Fizz for sodas, and The Flip Side Shop is also nearby for even more collectible goodies.
Just a great place to grab something for your room to stand out or get something you won't likely find at Target.
