Troll Hunters Starts June 24 at Nuarte
Hahahhahahahah!
Oh, say hello to the best parody of the Blair Witch. Trollhunter starts of as a simple movie about some kids from Norway doing a documentary about bears being killed illegally. The man must suspected of doing this is investigated. What the documentarians get involved in excites them so much they get pulled into a world with distinct rules.
1.Clean yourself thoroughly, including the groin.
2.Don't believe in God
3.Invest in some tannig lights
"Shot in a vérité style, Trollhunter is the story of a group of Norwegian film students that set out to capture real-life trolls on camera after learning their existence has been covered up for years by a government conspiracy. A thrilling and wildly entertaining film, Trollhunter delivers truly fantastic images of giant trolls wreaking havoc on the countryside, with darkly funny adherence to the original Norwegian folklore"

I found the creature design refreshing in this film, it's a whole new monster to fear. It's sets up a great premise for any sci-fi or fantasy movie with a set of rules you must follow to survive. Serving to bring old mythology and modern knowledge together to make it seem more realistic. The characters talk if any person saw a troll suddenly today. I love how one of them said on approach of a troll something like, "That can't be a troll it's some government mutant experiment". It's funny to think about it, but our modern mythology is mutants and secret government organizations ,which really are just fake bogeymen, people told ghost stories about generations and generations ago.
The troll hunter you meet steals the movie with the bureaucracy almost out of Ghostbusters 2 Both make the movie a fun jab at bureaucracy no matter what nation. The troll hunter is your teacher showing you the ropes, but is also the hero you follow. You learn how trolls think (not much) and what they eat (anything), but you have science behind it.
This will be a cult classic and I recommend seeing it with friiend while it's im theaters for it's short run. I belive you can already order through a lot of VOD deman services if you don't want to see sunglight, trolls don't like sunglight either.
