LACMA is presenting the West Coast premiere of Christian Marclay’s The Clock with a 24-hour screening, from 11 am on Monday, May 16, through 11 am on Tuesday, May 17.
I love the local news feel from this BBC story about the film.
The Clock takes from hundreds of films the passage of time, which sounds somewhat insane. I can't imagine editing that, that would be a nightmare. This movie is literally 24 hours and functions as a clock, it stays in real time, so no previews, it starts on the dot. Just, so many bad time jokes will be said. See you next time!
