So if you haven't heard the Tim Burton killed in New York. It wasn't like Beetlejuice where the sculpture came to life and grabbed you. However, you have a exhibit with over 700 pieces. Your going into the mind of Tim Burton. It's a little funny to see how far he's gotten, born in Burbank and working early on in Disny animation. Look for a small cameo of him in Waking Sleeping Beauty( a great doc about disney animation, it even got a award at the Annie's TTDILA attended)
Tim Burton is working with LACMA to make the exhibit something he'd like to creep through, a "Burtonesque" environment if you will.
From the Moca press release: Burton will install two large-scale outdoor artworks: on view through the Resnick Pavilion’s all-glass northern facade will be a deer-shaped topiary inspired by Edward Scissorhands (1990); elsewhere on campus, Balloon Boy, a 21-foot-tall, 8-foot-diameter many-eyed creature, an amalgamation of the tragic characters that Burton first introduced in his 1997 book The Melancholy Death of Oyster Boy and Other Stories, will be installed.
oh, man the three sections that divide the exhibit are priceless for residents here

Beyond Burbank
I think if you can prove you live in Burbank you should get a discount, it's too funny.

Star Tours Returns
June 3rd sees the new beginning of Star Tours. Maybe their opening on the 3rd because this time it's in 3D, and you got C-3PO as your pilot. Forget the old ride, keep it in your nerdy memories. The Adventure Conintues titled ride has some star power behind it, the Disney Park Blog said
Well, it wouldn't be a Star Wars adventure without Darth Vader. The Dark Lord of the Sith will be accompanied by legions of stormtroopers and some new "skytroopers," designed especially for our show. Boba Fett, everyone's favorite bounty hunter, will also be after us, as well as an assortment of nasty droids and creatures. Balancing out the villains are some classic good guys -- and even a princess! Master Yoda, Admiral Ackbar and Princess Leia will appear in the show to help guide our adventures. We may even run into Chewbacca along the way.
You know the mash- up merch is priceless. If Mickey Mouse can battle Sephiroth from Final Fantasy he can hang with Luke Skywalker. This ride will be kicking off the summer for LAliens.
your so going to want to go to Disnyeland this summer.
BTW check out the art for steevinlove as seen above. His Disneyland Attractions series is quite a fun ride.
-A Series Dedicated the Cast Members of Disneyland. These vintage-esque pinups are inspired by the costumes they wear and the Attractions they push the buttons for.
