Evangelion is the series that brought back the Japanese anime industry. The series about giant mechs and children with extermely emotional problems set a standard of higher quality animation. Gainax the makers of Evangelion set the standard on top notch animation, that sent waves to other animation companies to do better and come up with new shows. This movie is suppose to be simply beautiful and stunning. If you've watched all of Evangelion before be ready as this is a new take on the series with new characters and even a new Eva-Unit. This isn't old footage it's been completly been redone.For people who haven't seen anime, I highly recomend seeing this film about teen angst that lends itself to giant robots fighting monsters in some of the most stunning animation to come from Japan and the world.
