Sanrio 50th Anniversary Group Show and Pop-Up Store

 

 If you wanna be creeped out by a bunch of different artists interpretations of Hello Kitty and other Sanrio characters go no further than Barker Hangar. Girls or the gay community must eat this stuff up because they just had a show for Hello Kitty  last year. Something's telling me it's gonna be a annual thing. It's really not a just an art show , but a pop-up store. I guess you can grab prints.

Junko Mizuno's 'Flora Delirium' & Mizna Wada's ' Yummy Haunts'

 Junko Mizuno's work once again shines at the Nucleus Gallery. Her work is both sick and cute at the same time. The other artist Mizna Wada is new to me. but seems to be in the same circle of reference.

 So Scion tries to stay current by owning  gallery in Culver City. That's not important. What is is a Giant Robot  video game multimedia art show. This looks like a lot  of fun for free.
