Adam Warren finally releases his new comic book about Galactus's daughter. Yes, GALACTA: DAUGHTER OF GALACTUS hits this week and she uses twitter. I'm a huge fan of Warren's work and his constant techno-babble laced stories that would make ghost in the shell bow to it's star trek riddled word play. Pick it up and get turned on by a lady that could leady rock your world and well eat it.

Project room:
In the project room Soniferous Eden by Mileece- With the incorporation of dedicated hardware to harness both GSR and EEG(bio-electrical) signals. Mileece’s interactive plant software, written in Super Collider(an open-source audio programming language), analyses and allocates planet bio-emissions to generate the most minute elements of harmonically oriented sound design, thus enabling plant/man interaction to become audible. She describes this unique balance of data as musical gesture as Aesthetic Sonification*.
In Soniferous Eden, Mileece presents this work as a stone circle Planet Earth. Where a lush grove of planets, floating in a sea of stars, generates a rich and dynamic soundscape in response to the presence and touch of participants, who walk barefooted in moist soil among them.
As the name suggests, this installation is a magical rendition of our once pristine Earth, leaving visitors calm and relaxed, yet with a new and often intense sense of connectedness with the plant world around us.
*sonification is the replay of data through sound.
