In a suburban subdivision with indentical houses, parents find their teenagers addicted to an online horror video game. The game setting? A subdivision with identical houses. The goal? Smash through an army of zombies to escape the neighborhood for good. But as the line blurs between virtual and reality, both parents and players realize that fear has a life of its own!

The party is going down this Friday, April 23rd, from 8pm to midnight, in Los Angeles, CA (in the Silver Lake neighborhood). We’ll post the exact address on Thursday, so stay tuned, but here’s a little taste of what’s in store, and why people are already making plans to fly into town just for this party:

Festival of Books
The Festival of Books comes back to LA with a huge selection of books to check out and events around authors of said books. Notable favs R.L.Stine and Mr. Seth Grahame-Smith (writer of Pride and Prejuice and Zombies) and 100's of authors will be in attendance to sign your books, therefore making them better. This festival is happening at UCLA so except parking to suck.

TCM Classsic Film Festival hits LA on the 22-25
I suggest some ... damn there all pretty good. Any film student or writer should check out any of the movies. In fact anyone around should enjoy theses classics. Don't think just cause there classics there's no violence. The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly is playint, too. The restored Metropolis seems nice and the early horror movie The Day of the Triffids seems like fun choices. A rare collection of cartoons that are very racist ,Removed from Circulation: A Cartoon Collection seems like a good bet to see with friends who have grown beyond that said racism.
