Vital Juice resorts:
Dinner. Yamashiro introduces "Yamasata," its own market booth, where chefs prepare food using market-sourced ingredients. For $6, we enjoyed miso-sake marinated black cod tacos and exotic salsas at an outdoor table with a show-stopping view.
Japanese produce. Yasutomi Farms produces Japanese veggies including pink Japanese tomatoes ($3/lb.) and Japanese spinach ($1.25 per bunch).
Raw honey. Klausesbees beekeepers sell local, unfiltered honey from flowers including alfalfa, avocado and buckwheat, each tastes unique.
Gelato. Bulgarini is such a hit among foodies that they travel to Altadena for it. Get three scoops for $5 (we recommend the fruit sorbets).
Whole bean organic chocolate. ChocoVivo invites you to do a free tasting of its complex, stone-ground chocolate. The only ingredients are beans, raw sugar, and if flavored, fresh spices, fruits and nuts.
Raw Cane SuperJuice. We're fans of this "sweet" cleanse
Temescal Canyon Falls
Great article on some new place to visit by LAist
from Laist: One of the nice features about the loop is a small waterfall, viewable from a foot bridge, that is usually dry during other parts of the year. Even better, however, is the waterfall behind it, only viewable for those willing to be a bit adventurous by going off trail, do some rock scrambling and get a little wet (we use protected toe hiking sandals from Keen). In just a couple minutes, you'll find yourself at a larger waterfall and in a much more peaceful and secluded area. Continue on and you'll find smaller waterfalls and much thicker wilderness

Little Tokyo Unblogged has a nice article about a gallery diner where you can drink coffe and stare at art. Be nice if they responded about watching the 80's buddy cop classic (Showdown In Little Tokyo) which was shot on location at Little Tokyo WITH ME.
from LTU:Hold Up Art gallery is open to the public. Launched by two USC grads, Hold Up Art features offbeat street art from a few core artists and an inviting, interactive space.
