Things to do in LA doesn't just cover it's namesake, but stuff I like which includes video games. I reviewed some movies in the past with short synopsises for this site, but now I'm going to try and write out longer reviews of games I've recently played. U can skip to the end of the review for my simple rent, buy, avoid, or needs friends to enjoy rating system.
Ratchet and Clank Future: A Crack in Time is rich story infused platformer. It's exceedingly better than the last two games in the series.
New weapons
The Ratchet and Clank series is known for it's innovative weapons for each new game. This game doesn't disappoint. My favorite would have to be the Rift Inducer which opens a hole to another dimension in the sky. Some sort of horrible creature's tentacles come out and eat your enemies.
Next would be the Spiral of Death that flings a energy spiral at enemies then comes back like a yo-yo. Then the Chimp-o-matic which changes enemies into monkeys or monkey robots. Once again the secret weapon the Ryno5 is simply a death machine like no other with it's own soundtrack that plays when u fire the gun.
I don't want to ruin the story so I rather just say this platformer outshines any other out there right now until New Super Mario Bros comes out in about a week. So play it if you got a ps3.
It's a Rental because it's replay value is slim, but it's one Hell of a action adventure the first time through. Like living through a buddy cop movie from the 80's with a good story, but still all the bad clothes.
